Looks like it will be a ride full of fun and chaos.

I still vividly recall watching Jim Carrey's "Liar Liar" and the sheer laughter it brought with its chaotic moments. Upon reading the synopsis of this drama, I anticipated it to be a whirlwind of chaos, and indeed, the first two episodes have lived up to that expectation. Go Kyung Pyo is perfectly cast for his role, and his comedic expressions and acting are simply brilliant. Having seen his performances in previous dramas, where he effortlessly portrayed diverse characters, it's clear he has honed his skills significantly. I've always hoped to see Kang Hanna in lead roles, so I was delighted to find her in this drama. The series has kicked off with a plethora of humorous, chaotic, and dramatic moments, maintaining a lighthearted tone. I sincerely hope it continues in this vein until the end, steering clear of melodramatic pitfalls.

Not bad, but not good yet. Hoping that it's gonna improve in the coming episodes.

This review may contain spoilers. Episode 1: The initial meeting between the leads was far from romantic, reminiscent of characters from "Love with Flaws" and "Mad for Each Other." The female lead calls the male lead "poopy pants" due to their awkward encounter in a lift where he experienced flatulence. It was cringeworthy to watch, so I skipped most of that scene. While some parts were amusing, overall, it's not a promising start for the drama. It feels more like a juvenile prank show than a well-crafted series. Additionally, the insistence on blaming the male lead for his coworker's affair doesn't make sense. Thankfully, the last 15 minutes salvaged the episode somewhat, but it still leaves much to be desired. However, there were a few genuinely funny moments, so I'm hopeful for more in the next episode. Episode 2: Not much to report. Despite being a short drama, the pacing remains slow. The story and setup would perhaps be better suited for a longer daily drama. At least there's some interaction between the leads. Something keeps me from dropping the drama altogether, but I'm not particularly enthralled by its current trajectory. Episode 3: Maintaining the same slow pace as the previous episode, things progress sluggishly. I hoped to see the male lead confront the individual responsible for his job's uncertainty, but instead, he resorts to whispering curses. However, the gradual development of chemistry between the leads is a highlight. The secondary male lead appears more intriguing at this stage, leaving me curious about the reasons behind their breakup. From their current dynamic, it seems largely his fault. Episode 4: The leads are beginning to show interest in each other, which somewhat alleviates my concerns about the romance aspect of the drama. The preview for next week looks promising. I'm curious about the little kid who sporadically appears to motivate Ki Baek. The series' portrayal of the work environment is relatable, highlighting the challenges faced by individuals like Ki Baek and Woo Joo. When in top positions, they encounter envy and backstabbing without apology. Despite the toxicity, some are forced to endure or turn a blind eye. Regardless, I'm looking forward to next week's episodes.

An Easy Lighthearted Comedy, Fun Watch

This review may contain spoilers. What happens when you're striving for a promotion but encounter a string of bad luck instead? Your inner thoughts spill out, leading to a demotion you never saw coming. Few understand this situation better than Song Ki Baek (Go Kyung Pyo). Renowned as a phenomenal newsman, he's relentlessly pursued his goal of becoming the main news anchor. Adored by his boss and envied by colleagues for his seemingly perfect lifestyle, everything comes crashing down when he's caught up in an unwanted controversy sparked by a colleague. Bearing the brunt of the scandal, Song Ki Baek's life becomes a living nightmare. "Frankly Speaking" offers a delightful yet poignant portrayal of the inner workings of a broadcasting company. While the male lead portrays a news anchor, our spirited and no-nonsense female lead, On Woo Joo (Kang Han Na), serves as the head writer of a reality show. Adding to the chaos is the presence of superstar Kim Jung Heon (Joo Jong Hyuk). The first two episodes are rife with chaos, and though the pacing may seem slightly off initially, it picks up by the second episode as the actors settle into their roles.
